Kurtis Property are well renowned for providing a duty of care to our tenants from the start of the renting process to finish, including finding a suitable property to meet your requirements, dealing with the move-in procedure and ensuring you are fully informed in respect of whatever service we have been instructed to provide to that particular landlord.

We understand how stressful moving can be and therefore our aim is to take care of all the ground work to ensure you have to do as little as possible. It is important for us to fulfil your requests and liaise on a regular basis in order to avoid any complications during the process.

As members of associated governing bodies, The Property Ombudsman, Safeagent and the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, it is vital that we perform in accordance with regulations and standards. 'safeagent' is the UK's leading, not for profit accreditation scheme for lettings and management agents.

By giving us your details we can start to search our database for suitable property. The more information you can provide the better so that we can identify the right home for you. Click here to register/contact one of our offices.

View a Property

We will endeavour to arrange convenient appointments for you to view suitable homes.

Making an offer

When we have found you a suitable property you will be able to make an offer for the Landlord's consideration. You will also be asked to supply a preliminary deposit, which would hold the property for you. Any offer you make would be subject to you meeting our reference criteria. Please remember that throughout the transaction we act for the Landlord but will endeavour to incorporate your requirements as well.

Redress Scheme / Client Money Protection (CMP)

GAD (UK) Ltd trading as Kurtis Property is a member of a redress scheme which is the Property Ombudsman.  GAD (UK) Ltd trading as Kurtis Property is a member of a client money protection scheme operated by safeagent.

Agreeing the Let

Once your offer has been accepted, we will apply for references and create the relevant paperwork, which will form the basis of the agreement between you and the Landlord. We will also provide you with our Guide Notes for Tenants, which will explain our procedures further.

Tenancy Agreement

When all references have been received, we will arrange an appointment with you to visit our offices to sign the Tenancy Agreement.

Rent & Deposit

Prior to you taking possession, we will ask you to provide the balance of the agreed sum of rent(one month) and deposit (5 weeks). These monies need to be paid in cleared funds prior to moving into your new home.

Check in & condition Report

If we have been instructed by the Landlord, an Inventory and schedule of condition will be prepared of your new home and a convenient appointment will be made with the Inventory Clerk to carry out a Check In report to coincide with your move in day.

Registering the deposit

Your deposit will be protected through one of 3 schemes-The TDS, TDSL Or The DPS and this will be noted on the tenancy agreement.
